About Us
Our MissionOur mission is to preserve and share the wonder of the African experience with children – especially those in the African diaspora. We accomplish this through festivals, classes, assemblies, conferences, culturally-infused products and a wide variety of community engagement venues. By promoting a wider understanding of African culture, we strive to connect children and their families more deeply to their heritage and to each other.
Our VisionTo connect children in the African diaspora more deeply with the cultural roots of their ancestors and to inspire appreciation, unity and inclusion in local communities.
